She is here and she is perfect! We checked into the hospital the morning of February 16th at 5:00 am to be induced. My nurse started my IV around 6:20 and before she started the Pitocin, my water broke. So we would have been headed to the hospital that morning induction or not. Labor was fast and easy...after my epidural of course. Lucy was brought to the hospital after I was in my room. She was very curious about baby Claire, but quickly lost interest because she was so happy to see all the familiar faces. She thought everyone was there to see HER. Life with two has been a BIG adjustment for everyone, but it is getting easier every day. Lucy has been very sweet to Claire. She is always saying, "Hi Laire" and giving her kisses on the head, as she loudly says, "MUAH!" Claire has been a good baby, despite not sleeping at night. I am realizing sleep deprivation is nothing compared to dealing with the terrible two's...
