Finally..

Starting our blog has been on my to do list since March 2008. Well, it is now September 17, 2010 and I am just now getting around to it. Here is a quick review of what has been going on in our lives since March 2008:

1. Had a fabulous wedding on March 29, 2008!

2. Went on a wonderful honeymoon to the Maldives.

3. Celebrated two anniversaries.

4. Lived in 2 different cities.

5. Moved 3 times (5 if you count Jay and I moving into our first apartment).

6. Lived in one apartment and two different houses.

7. I left a job I loved, but ironically never went back to work once we moved to Austin, and do not regret it one bit. Jay has worked for the same private equity firm for 2 years and they are the reason we are now in Austin.

8. Bought an adorable golden retriever, Lady. She turned 2 on 9/11/10.

9. Adopted a very WILD golden retriever, LD, who has since found a home that better fit his needs. :)

10. Taken several fun trips...Topsail beach, Mexico, New Orleans, lake trips...

11. BUT the best thing that has happened to us in the past 2 1/2 years was welcoming this little girl into our lives on July 8, 2010. She has already brought us so much joy in her short 10 weeks of life. We love you Lucy Jones Hardaway!

Jay and I love watching her grow and change with each passing day. That being said, my goal with this blog is to give everyone a glimpse into our daily life, so you can see her grow and change as well. I will end this post with a few pictures from the past 10 weeks...you can see how much she has changed!
