ONE!

Little Lucy is ONE!! She has brought so much joy to us this past year and we can't imagine life without her! In fact, we don't remember life before her. The past year has been filled with...endless new experiences (for her and us), FUN, laughter, tears at times (Lucy and momma), sleepless nights, worried momma moments, proud parent moments, learning, lots of diapers and bottles and special memories.

The box is always a bigger hit than the gift...

Lucy at ONE year...

She will take several steps, but then falls.

She stands on her own all the time.

She now faces forward in the car seat...better for everyone!

She loves her bottle, but still will not hold it...at this point thinking she never will.

Doesn't sit still for a minute...unless she is drinking the bottle while we hold it.

The girl knows what she wants!

She says...dada, mama, night night, hi, bye bye.

She is suddenly very attached to jay!

She quickly figured out the car DVD concept and now wants it on every time we get in the car.

She points the remote at the TV as if changing the channel...truly jay's child.

She shakes her head 'no' at us, appropriately...

She LOVES dogs and can't get enough of Lady.

She is much more interested in her toys.

She laughs a lot and smiles all the time.

She weighs 22 lbs 5 oz, 70th percentile

She is 30 inches tall, 75th percentile

She is very attached to her hippo lovey.

She sucks on her pointer and index fingers and rubs the lovey tag along her nose to put herself to sleep. So sweet!

Happy 1st Birthday, sweet Lucy! We love you more and more each day!
